Police reveal series of car thefts during the past fortnight in Ashby de la Zouch area
North West Leicestershire Police say there has been a series of vehicle thefts close to Ashby over the past two weeks.
Thieves are targeting Land Rovers - with three stolen since January 15.
Police say a blue Ford Eco- Sport has been spotted close to the scenes of the thefts.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Continuing with The Ashby Beat team's acquisitive crime trend updates, there is an emerging trend in relation to the theft of Land Rover vehicles in North West Leicestershire.
"These thefts typically happen overnight.
"Since January 15, there have been three such incidents in close proximity to Ashby.
"A vehicle suspected of involved in the commission of these offences is a blue Ford Eco- Sport."
