Police in hunt for man after early hours aggravated burglaries in Ashby town centre

Two incidents of aggravated burglary in Ashby town centre early this morning are being investigated by police.

Properties in both Bath Street and Market Street were targeted, say Leicestershire Police who have not identified which addresses were broken into to.

Police have issued a photo of a man they want to talk to about the incidents.

A social media post from North West Leicestershire Police says: "Can you help?

"Police are looking to identify the male in the image here in relation to two incidents of aggravated burglary in Ashby early this morning.

"If you saw this male whilst in the area or can assist with identifying him, please call us on 101 and quote incident reference 107 of 05/01/2024."

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told Ashby Nub News: "The incidents were reported to us just after 7.30am and concern incidents in Bath Street and Market Street."
