Legal Secretary

Fishers Solicitors in Ashby is looking for a Legal Secretary to be based at its Ivanhoe Business Park office.

The law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Legal Secretary to join its Commercial Property team, supporting multiple fee earners up to Director level.

This is a full time, office-based role where the successful candidate will possess excellent technical, organisational, written and communications skills.

If you are looking for a role where using your initiative is encouraged and you are looking to get more involved with clients and the drafting of documents, this could be the role for you. Fishers is looking for a team player who can hit the ground running with duties such as:

· Preparing correspondence and documents through audio-typing

· Preparing documents using the firm's case management system

· Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an up-to-date diary for the relevant fee earner

· Attending clients both in person and on the telephone, providing support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care

· Answering telephone calls and dealing with queries

· Record attendance details accurately within the case management system

· Taking and recording accurately any messages, passing them to the appropriate person without delay

· Undertaking all necessary copying and scanning

· Working with the firm's archive system, retrieving and storing documents

Food & Beverage Assistant - Champneys

The company's Food and Beverage Assistants have a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is available for that day.

In this role, you will provide consistent levels of excellent service, you will be courteous, professional, and have a passion for what the company does.

You will help to drive sales within the F&B department while being an ambassador for Champneys.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

  • Ensuring the F&B area is well presented, inviting and to the to the standard our guests expect
  • Have a full and sound knowledge of dietary needs
  • Ensuring all literature available for our guests and have sound knowledge on calorific values and basic nutrition in order to advise guests on their menu choices
  • Having a complete knowledge of all food & beverage menus enabling you to help with any guest queries
  • Taking reservations, orders, delivering ordered Food & Beverages
  • Maintaining a clean working and dining area and maintain cellar areas in a clean, safe and hygienic condition to ensure quality of wet products.
  • Prepare restaurant & bar areas for service in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
  • Serve guests with drinks and meals in accordance with Company and hotel standards and procedures and taking every opportunity to upsell.
  • Rotate bar stocks and maintain sales displays according to Company and hotel guidelines.
