A house in Moira was raided by trading standards officers and police yesterday (Thursday).

The property, believed to be in Norris Hill, was targeted by the authorities who searched the home and confiscated a 'substantial' amount of counterfeit goods.

Leicestershire County Council released details about what happened - and said investigations are ongoing.

The council's head of regulatory services Gary Connors said: "We can confirm county council trading standards officers, assisted by Leicestershire Police, executed a warrant at a property in Moira on Thursday September 30.

"A substantial amount of suspected counterfeit items were seized and investigations are continuing."
