Police seized a car thought to belong to poachers at Staunton Harold Reservoir.

Officers from Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team came across the vehicle - unsecured - while on patrol on Tuesday.

They then found items that can be used for poaching.

The Swadlincote SNT Facebook page gives more details.

It says: "Poaching is against the law. We have poached your car, come and get it.

"Our eagle-eyed response team PC Watts & PC Brown came across an unsecured vehicle on Staunton Harold Reservoir whilst on patrol.

"On further investigation of the vehicle, they found items that can be used for poaching. The owner of the vehicle was not located.
