Over 600 signed up for Ashby Santa Run this weekend with entries still open

This Sunday is the return of Ashby Rotary's popular annual Santa Fun Run and Walk, with over 600 local people signed up already.
It's not too late to sign up – online entries will be open until 10pm on Friday evening or in person at the Rotary Club tent outside Boots at Ashby Christmas Fair between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 6 December.
All entrants are encouraged to get stuck in with their festive outfits as there will be a 'Best Festive Dressed' competition for boys, girls, men, women, families and dogs, starting from 10.30am on Sunday.
There are great prizes to be won, including a £30 Ashby BID gift voucher to be spent in town, Conkers Discovery Centre family passes, Fitness Republic gym memberships, and some dog-friendly goodies.
After the competition winners are chosen, a warm-up will start at 10:50am on the Bath Grounds, with the Fun Run and Walk kicking off at 11am.
