Everyone Active has announced opening times for the new look Ashby Lido - including the chance to have 'pool parties' at the weekend.

We reported on the redeveloped Lido at Hood Park Leisure Centre last weekend.

Ashby Lido to get Spring relaunch.

The scheduled opening for that is May 29.

But while the Lido and Leisure Centre owners Everyone Active have not announced prices, they have been able to say you will be able to get into the water.

The weekday dates coincide with the school holidays.

Here are the opening times, which are subject to change

• Saturday, May 29-Sunday, June 6 (9am-6pm) This covers bank holiday weekend and half-term.

• From Saturday, June 12, the pool will open every weekend (9am-6pm), Saturdays and Sundays only, until Sunday, July 4.

• From Saturday, July 10-Sunday, September 5, it will be open every day (9am-6pm).

• Pool party slots will be available every Saturday and Sunday only from May 29-September 5.

• During hot periods, the Lido will run a two-hour booking only.
