Shakespeare is coming to Blackfordby on Saturday night - in a suitcase!

Lamphouse Theatre is staging two plays by the Bard at Blackfordby Village Hall.

Suitcase Shakespeare presents Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth and it is described as 'Two actors, two classic plays - and several suitcases'.

Lamphouse Theatre describes the production as: "Muddled up with Macbeth? Romeo running rings around you? Let Lamphouse Theatre help you out.

"Two actors perform the plays Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth, using only what is in their suitcases.

"A clever, accessible and fun interpretation of Shakespeare's work.

"Lamphouse Theatre tells epic stories in intimate settings, packed with live music, comedy and spontaneity. They are based in Peterborough and tour nationally."

Each play is 45 minutes long and entrance on the door, 7.30pm, is £5.
