North West Leicestershire Health and Wellbeing Team are encouraging people to get into the great outdoors by organising a free Walk Leader course.

The Team say training will be via video call and some of the content includes:

  • Beginners walking group
  • Preparation and planning
  • Risk Assessments and paperwork

A Facebook post says: "Do you enjoy walking and want to help other people experience the health benefits of walking?

"North West Leicestershire Health and Wellbeing Team are running a FREE Walk Leader Course!

"Dates: Thursday 23rd July - 10:30-11:30 OR Thursday 30th July - 18:30-19:30

"Booking is essential - to register your interest please contact Georgia James on [email protected] or 01530 454735."
