North West District Council offering summer work in Ashby which could see you walking 10 miles a day

North West Leicestershire District Council wants temporary staff to work on local waste collection crews.

The work will last until August and consists of a 37-hour week, Tuesday until Friday.

The council says: "We are looking for temporary staff to work with our waste collection crews as recycling and refuse loaders until the end of August - 37 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday

"No experience is needed - you will be trained on the safe use of the machinery.

"A good level of fitness required as you may walk 10 miles or more a day.
