Ashby Ivanhoe FC have announced a new Football Development School starting this Saturday (March 12.)

Club officials say the sessions are open to the community - not just Ashby Ivanhoe players.

The club says: "We're delighted to share the details of our new Football Development School which will be led by Rob Avins, who will now take the role of Youth Development Coach, overseeing both the Soccer School and the Development sessions.

"It is starting from Saturday 12th March, and its aim is to help those that may not be quite ready for team football, but are too old for the Soccer School to develop further through specific training and drills that focus on the basic skills and the understanding around team football.

"The sessions will be held from 8:45-9:45am at our NFU Sports Ground on Lower Packington Road, LE65 1TS - and are open to the whole community, not closed to just Ashby Ivanhoe players.

"If interested, please DM the Ashby Ivanhoe FC Soccer School Facebook page to make contact with Rob."
