New face at Fishers Solicitors in Ashby has keen interest in Norse mythology - and owns 13 pets

Fishers Solicitors has appointed a new junior secretary with a wide range of interests outside of work.

Lauren Eley will be working for the Ashby law firm at its Ivanhoe Business Park offices.

But she also a keen interest in Norse mythology and is into heavy metal music, the style of which is a far cry from her 15 years spent playing the violin.

She is a big animal lover and has 13 pets - including a scorpion.

Lauren will be working predominantly in the plot sales team supporting with routine tasks and will progress into a secretarial position over the next 12 months.

She has worked in administrative roles since 2015, having spent the last five years with an independent Land Rover specialist.

Her duties there were wide ranging: she worked front of house welcoming customers, processed invoices and orders, gave quotes and was always looking for ways to improve processes and raise brand awareness.
