Another set of road works was added to the routes in and around Ashby on Monday.

Work on Derby Road is set to last for six weeks and is expected to cause traffic delays.

That is added to the temporary traffic lights that are also currently in place on Leicester Road, near Ashby School, and Station Road, by the Royal Hotel.

There is also a warning of more works starting at the town centre end of Derby Road starting on August 5.

Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has also announced work of a different kind at Hood Park.

The Play Area will be closed from Monday, August 3, for refurbishment work which may last for up to two weeks.
