Meditation classes begin in Ashby this month - and provide an opportunity to find space in the week to relax and refresh

Weekly meditation classes are starting in Ashby between now and early December.

They are suitable for everyone and are an ideal opportunity to get some space in the week to relax, refresh and improve your inner peace.

The classes are being held at Ashby Library in North Street.

They start tonight (Wednesday) and are then being held on November 9, 16, 23, 30 and December 7.

The classes include guided meditations and a talk to help discover the practical benefits of Buddhist meditation, demonstrating through experience how people can learn to keep a peaceful, positive and relaxed mind in daily life.

  • Guided meditations with practical advice.
  • Seating is on chairs.
  • Opportunity to ask questions over refreshments.
  • Suitable for beginners and all levels of experience.
  • Each class is self contained, not necessary to attend all.
