Marching band wanted by Ashby de la Zouch Town Council for Remembrance Day commemorations
Ashby de la Zouch Town Council is looking for a marching band to play at next month's Remembrance Day parade.
The ceremony, which attracts large crowds to the town, returns this year after being cancelled during the 2020 lockdown.
But the town council wants band musicians for the Sunday.
The town council posted an appeal online and said: "We are still in need of a marching band for our Remembrance Day parade.
"Happy to have four to six players, or more, that can provide a beat for the parade to march to.
"The parade leaves Ivanhoe at 9am Sunday 14th November.
