M1 Crash Causing Long Delays On Approach To East Midlands Airport

Queues of around eight miles are being reported on the M1 northbound this morning after a collision at Junction 24 for East Midlands Airport.

Highways England says that three lanes out of four have been closed because of the crash.

Traffic is building and heavy in the area and there are also delays on the southbound carriageway.

Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route due to the backlog of traffic.
