The Leicestershire Policing team are appealing for public help in identifying two people they wish to speak to after a vehicle failed to stop for officers in Ashby.

The incident took place in South Street just after 3am on Saturday 8 July. The occupants of a white Ford Fiesta raised suspicions and failed to stop for officers.

The vehicle then drove over the pavement and continued the wrong way up a one-way street.

It is believed that the vehicle was stolen from the Tamworth area in June.

Anyone who recognises the man and woman in this image is asked to get in touch.

Contact PC 4145 Simon Rickerby-Macqueen on 101 or pass on any information which may assist online, quoting crime number 23*420214.
