Make Ashby More Fabulous is back for their second Big Clean, calling on local people to help them keep the town centre looking its best on Saturday 18 April.

The Big Clean, which will take place from 9am to 10.30am, has been organised by two Ashby women, Kathy and Julia, who are on a mission to 'Make Ashby More Fabulous.'

Working in collaboration with Ashby Town Council, Ashby Civic Society and Ashby WI, Kathy and Julia were joined by over 60 volunteers for the first ever Big Clean in September, including Ashby Town Councillors and local Guides.

Anyone looking to get involved can meet Kathy, Julia and the team at the top of Market Street by the Paddington Statue at 9am on Saturday 18 April.

After the clean up, enjoy a bacon cob from Zamani's - you can order yours by putting a message in the town council letter box saying you will be attending the big clean.

Basic equipment will be available, with water from pubs of Market Street and the Tool Box but bring along buckets, sponges and brushes if possible.
