The third Make Ashby More Fabulous big clean is rapidly approaching, with the team working hard behind the scenes on the run up to the event.

After the success of the first two big cleans, organisers Kathy and Julia are holding the third big clean on Saturday 10 October from 9am to 10.30am.

They are inviting any members of the public, community groups and local businesses to pitch in, pick up a bucket and sponge and join them in showing Ashby Town Centre some love.

To get involved, meet at the WI garden near Paddington for 9am on Saturday 10 October and bring along any buckets, brushes and sponges you have.

After an hour and a half of cleaning, litter picking, weeding and wiping, volunteers are invited for a bacon cop after at Zamani's.
