Senior Quantity Surveyor with North West Leicestershire District Council

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work as a key part of the Housing Commerical Services and Asset Management Teams, working to support the production and maintenance of accurate financial information in accordance with the Council's rules.

A qualification in Quantity Surveying is essential (HNC or above) or equivalent and candidates must have proven experience in evaluating contractors' interim valuations and final accounts, monitoring costs, analysing trends, maintaining financial records and applying contract procedures.

Licensing Assistant (Part Time) with North West Leicestershire District Council

North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across local communities to help people and businesses thrive. They are looking for a Licensing Assistant to administer and support enforcement tasks relating to many areas of licensing, including: alcohol and entertainment, taxis, gambling and street trading. 

The successful candidate will process licence applications received both digitally and paper based. Tasks include data inputting using Idox Uniform and liaising with customers both face to face, by email and over the telephone.

The ideal candidate will be someone with strong administrative skills and recent experience working in an environment where they communicate regularly with customers. A knowledge of licensing law and procedures is needed for this role.
