Melbourne Hall is continuing its love of all things 80s, screening Back To The Future as part of the new Outdoor Under Cover Cinema in the walled garden this summer.

The showing of the Sci-fi classic is on Sunday, June 25, just a couple of days after Radio 2 Sounds of the 80s with Gary Davies the previous Friday.

The highest grossing film of 1984 on its release turned Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd into international superstars and is still considered one of the most iconic and loved movies of all time and perfect for all the family to enough in a great setting at the stately home near Ashby.

Marty McFly, a typical American teenager of the 80s, is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium-powered DeLorean 'time machine' invented by a slightly mad scientist.

During his amazing trip back in time, Marty must make certain his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love - so he can get back to the future

With glamping, top comedians, music, films, food and more planned for 2023, the South Derbyshire stately home is quickly becoming a destination for more than just its iconic gardens.

Presale tickets at £10, go on sale tomorrow (Thursday) with general sale tickets on offer from Friday at £14.
