Former Leicester City star to make an appearance with the Premier League trophy at Ashby pub

Former Leicester City, Liverpool and England striker Emile Heskey will be making an appearance at the White Hart in Ashby later this month.

Heskey scored 40 goals in 154 appearances for the Foxes and won 62 England caps.

The ex-Foxes star is now Heskey head of women's football development at Leicester and a regular TV pundit.

The White Hart posted on social media that Heskey will be at the Market Street pub on Sunday, April 24 - between 12-5pm - and said: "Join us for a massive day for sports fans!

"Meet Emile Heskey and grab a selfie with the Premier League Trophy!

"Lots of prizes/competitions on the day."
