Festival in the park hailed a success - 'You smashed it' says council

ASHBY Town council has thanked residents and artists and declared the weekend's free music and entertainment event 'Festival in the park' at the Bath Grounds a big success.
A statement says: "Thank you to everyone who came out to support the fantastic acts yesterday.
"They all smashed it. Great start to the events season. We had an amazing day.
"Thanks to Radar Event Services for providing the sound and lighting to keep the stage running smoothly."
