Motorists can expect delays over a possible five-week spell while work is carried out in Range Road, Leicester Road and Upper Packington Road next month.

Leicestershire County Council Highways' Network Management Teams says a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been made so that Cadent Gas can safely install a gas main.

Temporary traffic signals will be in use along with temporary parking restrictions.

Work is due to start on July 13 with the work not expected to last more than five weeks.

Highways says that there will be 'rolling' restrictions as work progresses between Range Road along Leicester Road to Abbotsford Road.
