Donisthorpe Community Group and Friends held their annual singalong outside The Halfway House in the village on Thursday night.

A brass band and an audience singing Christmas songs gathered on a clear, cold dry night.

A raffle was also held with 20 prizes to collect money towards community projects and future events.

All the prizes were donated by local businesses.

A special thank you went out t the volunteers that have given their time, not just for this event but others over the last year.

Without volunteers, the Group says it would not be able to hold such events and the community would not benefit.
