The deadline to book phase one tickets for next year's Timber Festival is approaching.

Organisers of the event at Fearnedock near Moira have reminded residents living in the National Forest that they are entitled to a 25 per cent discount on tickets

Prices for next year's festival, to be held on July 5-7, are in three stages.

A trial has been started for those who want to pay regular prices, support the event or are eligible for subsidised tickets.

Full details are HERE.

You can book your Phase One tickets for Timber Festival before midnight on Monday 11 December and save up to £20 on Adult Weekend tickets.

The festival organisers say: "Each year we gather with like-minded folk, to celebrate and strengthen our connection with the natural world.

"We are a varied and inclusive collective, one with a shared desire to be restored by the forest, while dreaming of ways to live more boldly to secure its future.

"So for Timber '24, we are going to trial a three-tier ticket system to ensure the festival remains an inclusive and welcoming space for all who want to join us, here's how it works:

"Supporter tickets 'pay it forwards' and the fee goes directly towards out subsidised ticketing option.

"Standard ticket prices are what we need most people to pay to run the festival.

"Subsidised tickets are for those who are unable to pay the full price.

"If you live within the National Forest, which covers parts of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire, you are eligible for a 25 per cent discount on standard and supporter festival tickets."
