Coronavirus: Leicestershire Police The Latest Organisation To Thank Ashby School For PPE Donation

Leicestershire Police are the latest organisation to thank Ashby School for donating PPE.

Last week, Ashby Nub News told you that the school has so far manufactured 2,600 items of equipment for key workers The Story of Ashby School's PPE production

That includes the Police and they posted this message on their Facebook page on Saturday along with a photo of staff working in custody suites.

The message reads: "A huge thank you to the design and technology teachers at Ashby School for the donated PPE.

"The department has been producing hundreds of protective visors for frontline workers across Leicestershire and in other areas of the country, including those working in our custody suites.

"Officers and staff working in custody often come into close contact with many different people.

"The face visors are helping to reduce the risk of infection and provide extra reassurance and peace of mind."
