North West Leicestershire District Council has issued an appeal to help others in the Coalville community if you can.

And it also wants the public to be more responsible with comments and actions in public life and on social media.

On the council's Coronavirus Information page Information For

Communities it urges people to heck on any vulnerable family, friends and neighbours to see if they need anything from the shops, a prescription collected or help with other small jobs.

The site says: "Sometimes just a small favour can make a big difference.

"Please consider the Government's advice on social distancing and hygiene measures when offering to assist others.

"Finally, please be responsible with your comments and actions in your community and social media, so as not to cause undue concern or anxiety." What Ashby Needs To Know
