Ashby School says it will be closed to Year 10s on Thursday and Friday.
A message on the School's website says this is due to 'staffing issues' related to the coronavirus outbreak.
However, the School says it remains open for Years 11,12 and 13 ahead of a nationwide closure from Friday afternoon.
Ivanhoe College says it is open as normal on Thursday and Friday.
A message on its website adds: "Following the announcement from the UK Government this evening about UK school closures, I can confirm that for the majority of students Ivanhoe College will close at 3.05pm on Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice. More information will follow."
Ashby C of E Primary School sent out the following letter to parents this week from the Acting Deputy Head after sending some children home on Tuesday.
"Dear Parents/ Carers
"I would like to reassure you all that we currently have no confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the school. We have sent home some children who have had a cough or temperature today which is in line with the updated Government guidance.
"We have also advised parents who have rung up with queries about illness of the need to follow the current guidelines as set out by the Government.
"If a family member needs to self isolate because of symptoms it is now Government guidance that the whole family needs to self isolate for 14 days.
"If you are self isolating because a member of your family is particularly vulnerable but there are no symptoms then we do need to know that this is the reason your child is not attending.
"This is a constantly changing situation."
Hill Top Primary School, which had sent home two pupils last week as a precaution amid the Coronavirus spread, has been posting the following message on its website before it was announced all schools would close.
"Self isolation- If your child is self-isolating due to Coronavirus, please let school know on the first day of absence. You do not need to contact us again. If your child does not return after the 14th day, we will contact you to check on their wellbeing.
"It is very important that parents adhere to this advice if we are to stop the spread of the virus. Please do not try to bring your children back before the 14 day period is up."
Woodcote Primary School says: "Home learning tasks have been uploaded to each class page (under the 'Children' tab).
"If your child has an interest in a particular area, or wishes to take one of the projects in a different direction, we would love to see it at school when they return.
"If your child has a new, continuous cough or a high temperature, then you are advised to self-isolate as a family.
"We will share any updates via: email, text messaging service, this website, Facebook and Twitter.
"Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe."
