An Ashby-based 'adrenaline junkie' will make her first-ever bungee jump as she aims to raise £3,000 for Glenfield Hospital.
Charli Campbell is a healthcare assistant at the hospital near Leicester - and wants to put the the funds towards 'enhancing the patient experience'.
She will make the jump on September 1 - leaping off a 160foot Platform.
But Charli says she is no stranger to raising money for charity - with one event holding a special place in her life.
She said: "It's my first time doing the bungee jump, I've wanted to do it for a while.
"But in 2021 I fundraised for a local mental health charity - Mental Mate - raising £2,000! I ran 20km per day for 14 consecutive days.
"I did this a year on from being sectioned under the mental health act, so decided to run the 14 days that I was hospitalised, one year on!
"In 2018, I fundraised for Nordoff Robins, music therapy charity. A group of us kayaked the three largest lakes in the Lake District - Coniston, Ulleswater and Windermere - in less than 24 hours.
"I used to ride horses and compete in cross country, which gave me an adrenaline rush. I also love go-karting!
"I plan on doing similar stuff for charities close to my heart in the future. Skydiving is on my list too."

Her fundraising page says: "As some of you may know, I'm a healthcare assistant at Ward 33a, Glenfield Hospital.
"We have a fantastic team who work so hard to make our ward the best it can be.
"However, we are currently trying to raise funds to enhance patient experience to make it even better.
"I love being part of our team and I would like to do my best to give back to our ward.
"So, on September 1, I will be doing a bungee jump. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, but I must admit, my legs were shaking when I climbed halfway up the Eiffel Tower!
"There's no doubt that this will be a challenge when I'm stood on the edge of a 160ft platform waiting to jump.
"As a team, we would be so grateful for any donations (no matter how big or small) to go towards making our ward a special place for our patients."
