A new bench has been unveiled at the Bath Grounds in Ashby to commemorate one of the town's leading lights, Chris Tandy.

Chris was in the Ashby Civic Society, Ashby Rotary Club and several other town organisations.

A short ceremony was held at the Bath Grounds to mark the occasion.

Sitting on the bench are Susanne Tandy and her sister Diane Burton.

Also present were members of the Civic Society Committee and members of the Tandy family.
