Ashby pub to close due to business restructure

An Ashby pub will be closing due to a large restructuring within the parent company.
The Brewers Fayre pub on Flagstaff Island in Ashby will close as Whitbread announce that all Beefeater and Brewers Fayre will be closing.
Nationally, these closures will cut around 3,800 jobs.
The move is part of a 5-year overhaul to save £250 million by parent company Whitbread, moving towards offering a integrated food and drink service in Premier Inn hotels, rather than outside restaurants, following customer feedback.
The pub will close after dinner service on Monday 7 September
