Ashby Pride has announced that it has arranged to bring monthly LGBTQ-plus drop-in sessions to the town.

Organisers of the now-annual Ashby event have teamed up with Leicestershire-based Trade Sexual Health who want set up the sessions.

But Ashby Pride is looking for your feedback as what you would like to see from this service.

You can complete a short online survey HERE to help tailor the drop-ins

Ashby Pride Director, Callum Prince, said: "We're really excited to be working with Trade on new drop-in sessions for the LGBTQ-plus community.

"The aim of the sessions is to bring hard-to-reach services into Ashby that otherwise people would need to travel 30 minutes or more for.

"We've been working with Trade since Pride last year to get this off the ground - and we're really proud to finally be able to announce the partnership.

"We're asking the community now what they want from these sessions ahead of looking to start them in the near future."

Ashby Pride will be held on August 10 this year after being put back a month from its original July date.

The town centre will be closed off for the day and the event is to be funded by Ashby BID.
