Ashby man arrested on Boxing Day for sexual communications with a child

A 24-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of Boxing Day on suspicion of sexual communications with a child.
Leicestershire Police was called to a home in Upper Church Street in Ashby-de-la-Zouch shortly before 1am, following reports the man had been sending inappropriate messages to a child.
According to a spokesperson from the force, "he has since been released on bail and an investigation is continuing."
