Ashby Ivanhoe FC had some unusual visitors to their NFU ground on Monday morning - a herd of sheep!

The Midland League team posted a video of the animals roaming the pitch at their Lower Packington Road headquarters.

Some of them showed a useful turn of pace - but they are likely to be baaaaa-ed on match days.

The club posted a message on Twitter: "Just another day in the life of a non-league football club as we had some early morning visitors at the NFU!"

A club spokesman said the sheep had invaded the pitch from a next door field.
