An Ashby-based first aid training provider has been given 100 per cent approval by the Royal Lifesaving Society.

Elite Training Solutions came out on top in a recent audit conducted by the Society.

The audit included an independent review of its teaching and assessment through an internal quality assurance visit, as well as an external audit of Elite's course documentation and policies to ensure adherence to Ofqual standards.

A spokesperson for Elite said: "We believe this achievement sets us apart from other providers, who may not undergo regular independent reviews or quality assurance checks.

"It is crucial to consider these aspects when choosing a training provider.

"While many decisions are based purely on the cost of training, it is essential to recognise the importance of the quality of training received.

"When deciding to employ providers to conduct training for you or your workplace, it is important to consider several factors.

"ETS not only utilises regulated qualifications as opposed to non-regulated ones, but we have also won awards for the high quality of training we have delivered since 2013."

Elite says these achievements underline its commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing the best possible training experience.

It added: "Our recent 100 per cent compliance score in the Royal Lifesaving Society audit further demonstrates our adherence to the highest standards, setting us apart from other providers.

"Choosing ETS means prioritising quality and ensuring that your training is both comprehensive and up-to-date with industry standards."

ETS was founded in 2013 by Tom Bennett, who has over 15 years' experience working as a first aid training instructor and is qualified Royal Lifesaving Society Trainer Assessor and Mentor.

Tom was presented with National honours in 2021 by the Royal Lifesaving Society in the form of the RLSS UK Service Medal, for his contribution to teaching first aid and water safety education sessions within the voluntary sector, in addition to providing free water safety training and education to local schools.
