Finch Consulting won the the Professional Services award at last week's East Midlands Business Masters Awards and Annual Dinner.

The competition was strong, with four other businesses in the running.

But Finch came out on top and, commenting on the win, Managing Director Dom Barraclough said: "We still can't quite believe that we won!

"We had no expectations and went along to the evening to enjoy ourselves and celebrate East Midlands businesses.

"We believe Finch's people were a major factor in us being able to achieve this recognition.

"Finch is nothing without its community.

"Everyone has worked so hard during the pandemic to help each other, whilst maintaining the excellent support to our clients, and this award is a real testament to them".

Over 100 companies from across the region entered the awards, and there were around 280 business leaders in the audience.

Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, said: "We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of entries for this year's awards, with many demonstrating resilience and forward-thinking in the face of the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

"The judges had some very tough decisions to make over the shortlist, as the competition was extremely high."

The judges for the awards included Donald Ward and Ashley Oates of Ward Recycling, Ben Buckton of Shakespeare Martineau and Natalie Gasson-McKinley of the Federation of Small Businesses.
