Dom Barraclough, Managing Director of Ashby company Finch Consulting, originally made up his own triathlon for fun.

But now he has decided to use it to help raise money for Burton & District Mind.

It is all part of the company's fundraising charity initiative to celebrate 30 years in business.

His 'triple'; started with a Coast-to-Coast mountain bike trek over three days and three national parks - the Lake District, the Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales, finishing for fish 'n' chips in Scarborough.

He will then attempt the Manchester Marathon for the second time in April 2023 - after abandoning previous attempts because of a knee problem and an operation.

Dom says he hopes the new 'bionic' knee holds out this time.

Finally, he will be cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats over nine days - for the third time - in September 2023.

He completed the Coast to Coast with his team over three days during the August bank holiday weekend and covered a grand total of 206 miles.
