Ashby-based, health and safety engineering risk management experts, Finch Consulting's ambitious growth plans are picking up the pace with the appointment of Angelica Rutherford-Hacon.

With over 25 years' worth of experience in civil engineering, Angelica will be joining Finch as a Senior Consultant from her most recent position with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

One of Finch's goals is to become the leading medium-sized risk management business serving all sizes of clients internationally.

To enable them to achieve this, Finch is looking to recruit experienced industry professionals with backgrounds in safety, health or engineering management, who can add to the extensive range of services already offered, and do so in an environment with a strong culture supportive of personal and professional development.

In her new role at Finch, Angelica will provide expertise to help resolve diverse client issues.

Specialising in health and safety management, Angelica has great knowledge of workplace transport issues and most of her work at the HSE involved Expert Witness work on behalf of the Crown relating to the application of the Construction Design and Management Regulations.

Angelica said: "I chose to join Finch as an opportunity to contribute from my past 25 years of experience."

Andrew Millington, Finance Director at Finch added: "Here at Finch Consulting, we have set some very ambitious goals, and we have already made some great progress against them by adding to our fantastic community as well as investing in new business opportunities to widen our offering or add to the already experienced team.

"But we don't want to stop there.

"We are always willing to talk to great people who may wish to join us.

"We are always willing to talk about business opportunities that add value to our clients and potential clients.

"We are always willing to discuss opportunities to acquire other businesses which complement our services or add to them."
