Ashby-based business provides emergency first aid training day at Leicester Tigers

Ashby-based training provider, Elite Training Solutions delivered a specialised Emergency First Aid in Rugby Union course to coaches and staff of Leicester Tigers.
The course, conducted on behalf of the Rugby Football Union took place last Thursday (October 3) at the Tigers' Welford Road Stadium.
Established in 2013, ETS has been an approved educator for England Rugby for six years, providing essential first aid and rugby-specific courses across the region.
Tom Bennett, Director of Training at ETS and lifelong Tigers fan, led the session for 10 members of the club's coaching and staff team.
Delivering the course for the Tigers was a proud moment for Tom, who said: "It was almost a pinch-me moment when we were asked to provide the training.
"It makes me immensely proud that our services are being recognised by such a historically significant club.
"And it shows that our hard work to deliver top-quality qualifications is paying off."
Leicester Tigers Academy Manager, Dave Wilks, praised Tom's delivery of the course and said: "The course was fantastic.
"Tom was well-prepared and he was an excellent tutor, bringing real-life examples and adapting the content to suit our context."
Elite Training Solutions continues to offer training for rugby clubs and teams.
Tom was a qualified professional lifeguard for over 15 years and is still qualified as a Lifeguard Trainer Assessor and Mentor for the Royal Lifesaving Society.
He qualified as an Rugby Football Union (RFU) Educator in 2018 delivering grass routes Rugby First Aid and Safeguarding training on behalf of the RFU.
