Empty Covid vaccine appointments are available for the over 65s and people who are clinically vulnerable as soon as tomorrow (Tuesday) with health bosses urging people to get booked in.
Injections are now being offered to those next in line on the priority list and patients do not need to be contacted by their GP to secure a slot.
Low numbers have booked on today, tomorrow and later in the week at Leicester's mass vaccination setting, The Peepul Centre.
While it is too late to make an appointment for today (Monday), there are slots ready to book for tomorrow and onwards.
A clinical commissioning groups spokesperson said: "People don't need to wait to be contacted by their GP and are free to make their own appointments via the national NHS website.
"We have had low take up today and for the rest of this week, perhaps because people are waiting to be invited. We'd encourage people to get online and make an appointment as soon as possible."

The latest gov.uk verified figures, released last Thursday, showed that approaching 200,000 people had received their first dose of the vaccine.
It is now expected that more than 200,000 have since had their first jab.
The government met its self-set target of vaccinating 15 million people and offering a first dose to all over 70s and frontline health care workers by today, yesterday (Sunday).
