Annual Ashby music event will return to the town next summer in the Bath Grounds

By Graham Hill 26th Dec 2021

Ashby's Fake Festival return to the town next year after missing two years in a row due to the Covid pandemic.

The one day show will be held in the Bath Grounds on June 4 and tickets are available now if you are already thinking of those summer days out.

The organisers have made it clear they are desperate to get the festival back on again.

They said: "Ashby - ARE YOU READY?

"Old friends… renowned Fake-Fest legends… you guys are a regular tour highpoint.

"You give the bands your best, all day, right 'til the end - we don't know how you do it.

"So, after missing two years, we simply CANNOT WAIT to get back rocking with you this summer.

"We've got some catching-up… let's make it extra special!"

According to the festival website, a host of tribute bands are lined up to play, including: The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, The Police, Coldplay, Guns 'n Roses and Kasabian.

The day is scheduled to start at 11.45am and run until 11pm.

The event was cancelled in 2020 during the first Covid lockdown - and further restrictions a year later meant it was not possible to hold it last year.
