Amateur rider from Donisthorpe, Leicestershire, Danielle and her horse Stormzy have qualified for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham this October.

Danielle and Stormzy qualified at the SEIB Insurance Brokers Search for a Star on 15th June at Pickering Grange near Coalville. They competed and won the Show Hunter class, qualifying for Horse of the Year.

According to Danielle, "Stormzy is an amazing horse; we've had a lot of 3rds before but no yellow rosette for us today, we've now won the red one!

"He is a real gentleman. I've owned Stormzy for a year [...] I've got intentions of taking Stormzy eventing and this has really spurred me on. I've always wanted to go to Horse of the Year since I was a child.

"I work full-time as an Operations Manager at a GP surgery so Stormzy and I are used to doing everything very early in the morning to get finished in time for work!"

Congratulations to Danielle and Stormzy and good luck in October.
