A42 Junction Now Reopened - Police Warn Of Heavy Traffic In Area

Drivers are being warned that the A42 Junction at Measham and Appleby Magna has been shut this morning following a crash.

There has been no access to the junction's roundabout after the collision.

Leicestershire Police says anyone travelling on the M42/A42 will have to continue straight as there is no access to the roundabout at this time.

They are urging drivers to use alternative routes.

  • Leicestershire Police has issued an update and said the road is now open although there may be a backlog of traffic to clear.
