The Queen's Head in Ashby is proudly "cheaper than 'Spoons" with three pints on draught that cost less than the popular bargain pub chain.

The historic pub, previously called the Angel, has a rich local history, dating back to at least 1648.

The Queen's Head offers Carling, Carlsberg and Stella Artois cheaper than J D Wetherspoons before 6pm in the week and between 11am and 3pm on Fridays.

The inside of the pub has recently has some much needed love, having been totally refurbished to renew the classic and cosy country pub feel.

The pub is independently run and has a great community of locals that visit regularly, making the Queen's Head a busy little pub, proud to offer 'Good sport. Great pints. Proper Sunday vibes.'
