Ashby de la Zouch Town Council will hold its first ever ‘virtual’ meeting on Monday.
Coronavirus restrictions mean the council has not sat since March.
But the first meeting in four months will be held next week via a Zoom link to councillors.
Members of the public will be allowed to attend and participate as they would be able to at a regular meeting held in the council’s office in South Street.
However, the public participation section is limited to 20 minutes.
The council confirmed the date of the meeting on social media and released the following details, including how to log on to the Zoom link.
A post from the town council reads: “Please find below details of the next Town Council meeting that will be taking place on Monday July 20, 2020 at 6:30pm via Zoom virtual meetings.
“All are welcome to join. Please allow extra time to log in as the meeting will start promptly at 6:30pm.
“Please note: the public participation session is available in the early part of the meeting and is limited to 20 minutes.
“Full agenda details can be found on our website Ashby de la Zouch Town Council
