The annual Aldi Ashby 20, a 20-mile road race organised by runners for runners, will take place on St Patrick's day, Sunday, March 17. Starting on Upper Packington Road at 10am up to 1,500 runners from throughout the UK, will be pounding the roads.

They will follow the road towards Packington before heading towards Heather, via Swepstone.

They will then head back towards Packington via Normanton Le Heath.

After completing the second lap they'll head back towards Ashby, finishing on the Bath Grounds.

The early runners will start finishing around 11:45, with the vast majority finishing between 12.30 and 1.30.
