Packington Horticultural Society (PHS) Presents Annual Show for 2025

Get ready to polish your potatoes, perfect your preserves and finesse your floral displays because the 82nd Annual Village Show is nearly here! This year's show will take place on Saturday 6th September 2025 at Packington Memorial Hall.

With categories ranging from homegrown vegetables and vibrant flowers to traditional crafts and homemade drinks, there's something for everyone. The ever-popular baking section returns with both sweet and savoury treats including sausage rolls, fresh bread, indulgent traybakes and the fiercely competitive Dundee cake. Children are encouraged to get creative too, with classes for miniature gardens, imaginative Lego creations and hand-decorated biscuits.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just proud of your peculiar-looking courgette, the show is open to all from professional show growers to hobbyists and novices alike. It's a friendly and fun celebration of local talent, creativity and community spirit.

The day wraps up with delicious food and refreshments, a raffle, and of course, the much-loved produce auction, a highlight not to be missed!

New for 2025 we will also be able to accept card payments for the raffle and auction.

Show Itinerary

8.00am – 1.00pm - All entries accepted

10.00am – 1.00pm - Refreshments served

1.00pm – 4.15pm - Judging of Exhibits - during this time only judges and Committee shall be allowed in the Village Hall

4.45pm – 5.30pm - Public viewing of exhibits

5.00pm onwards - Bar opens and food available from Biddulph's Pizzeria

5.30pm - Presentations and Awards

6.00pm - Auction of exhibits begins

Packington Annual Village Show is planned, organised and presented by a small group of volunteers to raise money for various village organisations.
