Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has announced details of Sunday's Festival in the Park which will be held at the Bath Grounds.

The event takes place on Sunday, May 4, from 12noon-7pm and is being billed as a free community event.

But the first hour will be dedicated to commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

You are invited to bring your own chairs and a picnic blanket for a day which will include live music, entertainers, children's rides, a licensed Bar, food vendors and community groups.
