We're inviting families across Swadlincote and beyond to help us plant 500 trees at the country park on Saturday 11th March.

Kids Plant Trees has teamed up with Harworth to host this free community event.

Pop along anytime between 10.30am and 2pm to have a go at planting. The event is suitable for all ages and no experience is necessary. Our tree and gardening experts will show you what to do. Come along for some outdoor fun and help the environment too.

We'll be planting up to 500 native whips (baby trees) on the day, on a small area just below the seated vantage point on the far side of the country park, close to the new commercial units.

Equipment and light refreshments will be provided (juice and biscuits!) Please bring a spade if you have one, and a pack lunch if you plan to stay for the duration.
